The card identity used in a request: two, seven, jack and so on.7♣ and 7♥ share a rank. In our browser practice, the written button “7” means sevens rather than a specific suit.
Book
The completed four-card group in the profile taught here. Show all four cards, then place the book apart from the active hand. Pointing to this separate pile helps distinguish cards you hold from cards you have already collected.
Stock
The remaining face-down draw pile after the deal. When an opponent says “Go fish!”, the requester takes its top card under our stated profile. The demonstration shows the stock openly for explanation, not because real stock cards should normally be visible.
Use the words together
“The rank I requested was seven. I drew a seven from the stock. It completed a book.” Treat this as a spoken example and check the actual cards before accepting a game claim.
